This is a two tone tan & cream colored pea. I should have taken a picture before I sprouted them. My reserve seeds went back into the freezer this afternoon or else I could snap one. I had 100% germination with this one too. zeedman and I discussed this pea and he was telling me that it’s been grown in Texas. A fellow he sent it to grew out three crops in the same year! This one has been circulated under the name MN157 which is a mistake as the name should be MN150. I actually received a few of the wrong named peas when I was collecting beans several years back. I’ve been wanting to grow this for quite some time. So here’s a picture of the sprouted seed and I’ll do my best to document it’s growth. My goal on this one is to save seed. As a seed saver that’s my primary goal on just about everything I grow.

Saving seed is definitely a worthy goal. If 3 crops per year is possible, does that mean it's most likely a bush cowpea?
Can't do better than 100% germination, keep up the good work, moose!

Yes, according to my seed donor, it’s a true bush.
