Greetings! I wanna find out if anybody's growing the historic sweet potato from the Spanish settlers other than Sandhill Preservation in Iowa. I've been trying to find that and other types of sweet potatoes that are tied to early European settlers both in the Midwest and southeast. There's a similar one in Garren's Red and White and was wondering if it's as effective as the original one. Is the Spanish Red a parent to all types of sweet potatoes? I'm growing a Cherokee garden this year to honor my late grandma who was born in Oklahoma and she was a Cherokee freedwoman. They were about the size of ginger and how I make fries from them? It was among the oldest of all sweet potatoes. If anybody has grown any or found other types of old sweet potatoes from the settlers, please let me know. I also need help entering my password old or new to enter your new sweet potato site. Thanks!
