I am looking for nanny Hamby bean seeds. When my dad worked at widows creek for tab a man gave him nanny Hamby bean seeds. They have crossed with other beans and are not as big as they were when he first began planting. Does anyone have any of the original bean seeds. If so, I would like to buy some. Doesn't have to be a lot. Will so I can save the seeds. I have some that seem to be crossed and they are still delicious, just want wider pods and bigger beans if some one can help me out.

I need to try those Hamby beans again someday, but first I've got to fix my deer, goose, and grasshopper problems, so it might not be in the near future. I sure am glad you guys are working to keep that strain going, so folks like me can enjoy the fruits of your labor someday down the line. Your efforts are much appreciated.

I planted my Hamby too late. So I watered for months while waiting for cooler temps. All my beans succumbed to drought and heat BUT the Hamby beans fought to survive and bloomed often in an impressive manner when compared to others. They warrant a regrow under favorable conditions.
