ros de mallorca pepper seeds: A friend gave me a start a couple of years ago and we loved them. I don't recognize any of the vendors who say they have them. One of them is Superhotchilis.com. Anyone ever buy from them? I might have saved seeds, but they also might be lost.

I copy and pasted that address and it popped up looking very suspicious. Wouldn't recommend that for anyone else. Here's the address I found that seems to take you to a legitimate site.
Super Hot Chiles
I haven't deal with this business before but their tab "about" looks pretty good. It is a well designed website.

I had Chile spelled wrong. I did find it and was fascinated by the sweet peppers they offer. I don't know if 10 seeds for 4.99 is a particularly good deal. Thank you all.

Yep, Refining Fire Chiles (SuperHotChiles.com) is a legitimate, popular seed seller. Probably one of the best superhot developers/growers/seed sellers in the world, not just the USA. They actually owned the world record for growing the hottest pepper (at the time) several years ago. It is the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion.
Anyway, while the company is well thought of, the owner, Jim Duffy, has his detractors. You may have seen posts elsewhere here about the peppers developed by Khang Starr, known for developing several pepper varieties, sometimes called the Starr line. As Khang stabilized each of his peppers, he released them to the public, free of charge, with the stipulation/request that they never be sold. Mr. Duffy chose not to honor that request (Lemon Starrburst). Because of this, a lot of folks in the pepper world refuse to do business with him.
Well, there you have it. Probably WAY more than you ever wanted to know, lol.
