chrysanthemumI’m trying hard to keep pictures up to date. Maybe it will help someone later to decide if we want to try them. I’m learning about plants I’ve grown before. Take the big boy peas for instance. I don’t remember them climbing before, but they sure are this year!

The Pigott Family Heirloom peas are all gathered and seeded. The total seed count is 228 seeds. More than enough to have a nice grow out another time. I believe I started with 6 plants, but one of them didn’t make it, so these seeds came from 5 plants. I would definitely grow these again. The seeds are pretty. I didn’t eat any, so I can’t say how well they taste. Another time perhaps.

Very nice! Maybe it's my eyesight, or my laptop screen, but they have a very different look to them, kinda like a stonewashed camo Army uniform. I like the look...

That is great that you were able to save so many seeds from just five plants. Good work. They do look nice. I agree, woodeye, with the stonewashed camo description.

rdback heavyhitterokraThanks guys. The original seed came from Remy. I sure wish I had bought every variety of bean and pea she had. Hindsight is always 20/20.
