Spent the day in Seminole, OK last Sunday for a friends/family gathering. Managed to take a few photos, but it was so hot out there that I didn't stay out in the heat for long. They had purchased some miniature cattle, first time I've seen such as this. Had a great time in spite of the heat...
A Miniature Zebu bull. I had to research Zebu cattle, they are the origin of Brahman cattle here in the USA. I did not know that.
The Zebu bull & his mates. Well, the 2 cows are his mates. The goats are just in the same pen. They have pasture to go to, but had come in for some water.
Appears to be a nice plump Buff Orphington rooster.

Photos Continued:
German Shepherds she rescued from the pound.
Pygmy billy goat. I asked her how many goats she had because there was goats everywhere. She said she really didn't know.
I made a pair of horseshoe towel holders, but she put plants on the shelves instead. The plants cover up most of the horse decals I put on them.
The other towel holder.

I love Seminole, Oklahoma. We've had some really nice visits out that way in years past. Cool towel racks by the way. It's always good when an item like that has more than one good use.

They are such nice folks, I really enjoy going to visit them. I took my little brother and wife with me, it's about his only chance to get out of town nowadays.
I took some tomatoes out of my garden and a few other trimmings, also took them a big wheelbarrow full of post oak and pecan smoking wood. He cooked spare ribs on the smoker, and hamburgers and Johnsonville smoked sausages for hot dogs on the gas grill. Did I eat too much? Such a silly question, of course I did...
