I just had to share this here. 2000 years, especially in a non frozen environment, is a LONG time for a seed to sit around before being grown!

That was fascinating! Thanks for posting that. I love the names for the palms.
I was diagnosed about ten years ago with non-celiac gluten intolerance. A doctor suggested that I look into einkorn wheat as some non-celiacs digest it better than modern hybridized forms. I do tolerate it better though still have to be careful about eating it too often. I believe that einkorn was brought back into modern production from a small group of seeds that were found in a museum. It’s amazing what hardiness is built into our natural world.

It's so nice to hear when things come to fruition like that after all the years of work those ladies put into that project. God makes some awesome stuff! You'd think that after so many years, a thing like that would have turned to dust.
