I'm still making the sawdust fly on occasion, these are some pictures of recent projects. The first two pictures are a Jumbo reversible cutting board I made for my nephew who lives in Idaho. There are not any cutting board feet on it like the smaller and thinner models, this one can be flipped over and both sides can be used. It has a groove on each end called finger grips. 100% Black Walnut. 1-1/2" thick, 16" x 21", it weighed 12 lbs.Side one: Flipped over, this is Side two: Various Cutting Boards:
Turntables: (I now call them turntables instead of Lazy Susans because my sister-in-law's name is Susan)😉

Every single one of those projects is a showstopper, Woodeye. Thanks for posting pictures.
Good choice on the use of the term “turntable.”

Yep! Woodeye made us a cutting board. Maybe someday my wife will take it down off the wall and use it. Presently she treasures it too much to risk scratching it.

Thank You, chrysanthemum - macmex - rdback - FrostyTurnip - hedgeapple - heavyhitterokra
I will make you a sycamore cutting board and bring it with me when I come to visit you all this summer, George. Quarter-sawn sycamore makes an excellent cutting board for daily use. I have added it to my list of to-do projects, I'll start working a bit in the shop about a week from now. I have company right now, my older brother from Idaho is here visiting.
This is an example of a Sycamore cutting board. I have a large amount of sycamore lumber in stock. Yours will look similar to this one.

Beautiful work woodeye. I agree with Jerreth - much too pretty for daily use!

We love the two we got last year, and they have both stood up to a lot of work. From yesterday:

Woodeye,
Those are beautiful! I enlarged those photos to better see the depth of the grain and the detailed millwork. Outstanding work, every one of them! The one you made me is awesome!
Thank you! I'll have some cherry waiting for you when you make your rounds this summer.

Thank You, heavyhitterokra
I'm making a pair of the sycamore cutting boards to bring along, one for you and one for George. From the looks of my schedule now it will probably be Tuesday before I get to play in the shop, I'm digging onions tomorrow and Friday, then doing yardwork and some other garden tasks over the weekend. Monday I have to go to OKC for hearing device repair, but after that I should be caught up on everything so that I can work on cutting boards.👏
I look forward to meeting you all in July...
