Every year in late winter I retrieve feed from Stillwater Milling that caters to farms and ranches. Their store includes seed varieties that grow well in Oklahoma climate. These are packaged by Greenseed, mainly for market farmers and some larger farmers. Grown by Tri Star LLC for retail market distribution, these are not organically grown, but they are on GMO heirloom seeds. If we grow them out and save seed, they turn into organic seed.
The mill gets a heck-of-a-deal and these are packaged in the hundreds and often that package is only $1. Usually no more than $4.
And I always pick some up and always have too many. So here’s my offer to off-load.
For members, I’ll just shoot some in the mail fer ya. For non-members, I’ll shoot some in the mail fer ya if you provide SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope). Most are all small seed and a SASE should be sufficient.
Seeds were harvested in 2022 and package for sale in 2023. Assume I have several hundred of each variety as of the time of this writing. Don’t be shy!
Long Green Cucumber (slicer) I accidentally picked up THREE packages of these, meaning I have a thousand of these! Boston Pickling Cucumber Chinese Michihili Cabbage (Tender and tasty, Prolific Reseed and easy to grow.) Salad Bowl Red Lettuce Armenian Light Green Cucumber

Here are some things in comparable seed sizes I wouldn’t mind trading for:
Fresh Borage or a good amount of older seeds to offset germination rates Pak Choy or any non-Mustard Chinese variety of greens or cabbages Fresh Onion Seeds of Short Day or Intermediate Day Varieties Anything specialty that you may need to offload. I’ll take it and pop it in storage.
Thanks for reading! Yah bless! bon

I have some packages of short day onions—one red variety, one yellow, and one white—and I’d be happy to send you seeds from those if you’re interested. I bought them in the summer of 2022 with plans to start them in October. With our continuing exceptional drought, however, I decided not to try, so I’ve never opened the packages.
I don’t remember the specific varieties at this point, but I do know that they are not all open pollinated. If you’re willing to accept hybrids, I’ll get them out and take a look to see what they are and let you know.

That Greenseed company is a really good deal. We purchase the same seeds at our Farmer' Co-op. Can't hardly get a better deal as long as you aren't looking for something exotic. Those packets always have a very very healthy amount of seed in them and our experience is that they are good quality!
