Folks,
If anyone lives close to, or in Tahlequah, and needs some growing space, I'd highly recommend the Tahlequah Community Garden, which is located on property of Northeastern State University. Here's the text of an e-mail sent today, by Julie Gahn, who coordinates this. You can use her user profile (Julie) from this web site to get a message to her, if you are interested.

----------------------------------- Hi everyone,
We had a few growers brave the rain yesterday and choose their plots. There are some left. Had a good suggestion to bring flyers inviting immediate neighbors to garden with us. So, I'd like to get a good handle on how many spaces are left.
Please email me and let me know if you want a plot and what you want to grow. Lower growing crops go in the circle beds, and taller (tomatoes) and vine ( cucumbers, winter squash, etc) crops go on the outer beds.
I also need to get our seed request to Rick Nation, Clear Creek Seeds, asap. (Rick has offered to donate seeds to the garden this year.
Thanks, Julie
