As it turns out, Easter Sunday was quite an adventure. I had visited George & Jerreth, and Ron & Margaret the day before and the long drive to and from their houses to mine pretty much exhausted my energy. Nonetheless, I had previously promised my niece and her husband that I would like to donate a 2-man boat w/trolling motor for their new homestead and nice pond. The distance from my house to their house is 79 miles, but I had to pull a trailer because the boat was longer and heavier than I remember it being.
The boat had been stored new and unused in my barn for 15 years and the prospect of it ever seeing a pond with me at the helm became nonexistent. With that in mind it was time for the boat to find a new home, they were absolutely thrilled to get the boat. Their fishing experiences have quickly accelerated because now they can fish anywhere they like on the 1.17 acre pond. (or as the state calls it, "impoundment")
Anyway, I thought you all might like to see the pond, plus see the boat with its adoptive family. Oh, their location is in green country. Cool!
My niece's husband, getting ready to slay the fishes. My niece lands one. My niece lands another one. (could possibly be just a fish story, it might be the same fish)🤔 My niece's husband, stepson, and faithful companion heading out. My niece's father-in-law finds a crappie. It's lunker time for my niece's husband.

That's just wonderful Woodeye! My wife is still glowing about all you taught her about wood working. She believes you are the greatest woodworker ever!
