There are just too many different varieties of these crops. I would love it if I could possibly grow every plant that has ever existed on this planet, of course that's not possible. I only have 2 individual acres, separated by 18 miles.
I have a greenhouse frame, that I constructed almost 2 decades ago, it's also wired and plumbed. I purchased an 8000 CFM cooler to cool and ventilate it, but co-opted it to cool our home, instead. I also purchased almost enough covering materials to cover it. If only I could find a way to finish it and put it into operation. I do have a plan. Hopefully I'll get there, someday.
I like lima beans, so I grow a few kinds of those, also hyacinth beans, as well as several different kinds of garden peas. I often eat a few handfulls of nearly ripe ironwood seeds (also a legume), they taste like a cross between garden pea and peanut, though eating too many is said to be bad for you. I've never experienced any adverse affects. I'm also planning to soon grow and eat Fava beans.
