And here is another, "African daisey". This time of the genus, Gerbera. Again, I'm growing a batch of mixed color seed, hoping that some will be a nice dark purple.
Hopefully some will be in shades of purple, or I'll need to try again.

I just planted a 6-pack of these. The seed packet only contained 10 seeds. So I have 4 spares.

This evening as I was watering and checking on my seed starting trays, I noticed a Gerbera sprout. At first I thought I was observing the garlic section, and was frustrated that it had two fat little cotyledon leaves - which would not have been, garlic; then I read the label and realized the seedling looked exactly how it should look, being a Gerbera seedling.

Now there are 3 sprouts. Growing Gerbera are fun. I've grown them before, but its been too long.
