Well, my rutagaba seed have sprouted, I'll wait about one more week, then plant them out, one each to 15 gallon pots. Some of my red/purple bok choy have also sprouted as well as Asian pink dandelions and garden peas. Another week and I'll be planting them out, too.

I just planted out, the 4 largest seedlings of 5. All in one 25 gallon fabric pot - light tan.

Almost time to start here. OSU planner suggests direct sowing end of Feb. I’ll start some indoors, too. I really like this one in the veggie fritters instead of potatoes. They don’t burn while waiting on the carrots. And they’re milder than turnips, at least the ones I’ve eaten.

Well, they're still kinda small, but coming right along. There should be enough cool-time for them to produce, before summer heat arrives in April. We will see.

They're getting larger, faster. If the heat stops them I know that this year I'll need to start them in early-autumn vs mid-winter.

Heat likely slowed them down. I ended the 5 rutabaga, by pulling them up and eating them. They got to be about the size of golf balls. I can hardly distinguish their flavor from radishes. At least once I warm them up, some of the spiciness dissipates.
I would have kept them going, but I need the space for other crops.
