Hey. George, I finely managed a few minutes to get on here and poke around! I’ve gardened since the late 60s, but the most important thing I’ve learned is I’ll always continue to learn. My focus has been on tomatoes and peppers, but I love any garden variety with a story. Right now, I’m trying to maintain a tomato variety that came from seed saved from a late friends garden the last year she gardened. At one point I was convinced it is a variety (mule team) my friend grew as a tribute to Dr. Caroline Male, but judging from the fruit this year, I’m not certain that’s what it is? I’ll continue to grow them and see how they grow year after year.

Bruce, great to to have you! I wish you the best in trying to determine the identity of that tomato variety. I'm guessing that it was from Dawn Coyle.

Lol, yes George, the tomato seed came from Dawn’s garden. Ironically I used frost cloth that came from her stash, thanks to Tim, to protect against the early freeze we had here a few weeks ago. Thanks Amy!
