Isn't that crazy how brightly those scorpions glow under the black light that way?
It amazes me every time I see that. I don't know if it works on copperhead snakes or not, but it certainly works on the hornworms that eat my tomatoes.

The one I found last night was just a few inches from the storm door handle when I was going back in the house, I would not have seen him without that blacklight. But with the blacklight it's impossible to not see them.
I'm going hunting again tonight just for sport because there was a fresh snake skin in my canna bed this morning. It was from a longer snake, and probably was not a copperhead. At least I hope I don't have any 5 foot long copperheads on this place...
