I saw recently that Craig Lehoullier is posting on his blog old issues of a tomato newsletter called Off the Vine that he and Dr. Carolyn Male published together. I’m going to try to add a link here that should redirect to the page on his blog where they are located. www.craiglehoullier.com/blog1/tag/Off+The+VineAt least for me loading this page brings up with the most recent posting. I have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to start at the beginning. Just a couple of articles in from the beginning is some information about isolation distances for tomato varieties and a description of a process for saving tomato seed. Both authors are concerned with saving open pollinated varieties, and it shows in their writing, so I thought members of this forum might appreciate the resource.

He's done so much good work with tomato breeding! Dr. Male was a true "classic" herself. It was her that introduced Heidi to North America. One of her students (she was a micro biologist) brought her the seed from Cameroon.
Thanks for this link. This makes everyone richer!

Thanks, for posting that. What a good read on this cold, rainy day.
