Nice!!
But it brings to mind that I forgot to stamp RUSH on the order that I sent in a few days ago... I got my order in two weeks from the time that I sent it off. Considering all the Drownses’ responsibilities and lack of help this summer, I think that’s pretty great. My Woods Mountain Crazy Beans had just a few popping up this morning when I went out to water. I’m excited.

Considering all the Drownses’ responsibilities and lack of help this summer, I think that’s pretty great. My Woods Mountain Crazy Beans had just a few popping up this morning when I went out to water. I’m excited. That's awesome news, 2 weeks from the mailing date would be exceptionally fast for mine. However, I discovered this morning that I had inadvertently not mailed my order Thursday as I thought I did. Thus it didn't get mailed until this morning. But that would still get the seeds to me by mid August or so. I ordered several other packs of seeds, I'm hoping to get them all. I gambled that they would all be in stock, so I circled No Substitutions. Just have to wait and see if it was a bad choice to do that. Anyway, Thanks for the heads-up on the order turnaround time...

Wow. Wish i had extra seed, woodeye. They'd get there overnight if I sent them to ya. Our local mail service is pretty good. Thank You, bon. I appreciate it, I'm gonna plant a few seeds of another variety this week, just so I have something to watch besides squash and one cucumber plant...

First time I have ever attempted bush beans, so I am excited to watch them grow. Currently have 13 plants up and will be saving seed to share. 🤞

I've seen your okra pictures, hedgeapple, I'd wager that you will follow suit with these and be inundated with bushes laden with beans aplenty...

@bon
I set mine on the porch today and something ate big chunks out of the leaves on a couple of plants. Out of the 5 plants I have, I think 3 look fair of course the ones the leaves got chewed on are the best looking ones. Grrrr!

I have cowpeas 3 maybe 4 feet away untouched, but something just ate these bean leaves clean up.

I hate to see that Moose, but I know the feeling. It's very discouraging to get snookered by a bug that you can't even find.

We are getting a thorough soaking right now. Hope the beans like it.

Moose, I've been scrambling to get strings up for most of mine, too. I got tired yesterday, but I decided not to put it off so I can focus on other fall starts. I don't multi task well. I strung a lot of beans, but it's still not enough. Far better than last year, though.
I got my 4 Wood's Mountain Crazy beans into pots yesterday, the bean sprouts I need solely for Seed Saving. With what happened to yours, I might try to put some tulle fabric over the tops to help protect them. I need to pot mine up too, but I’m trying to give them a chance to recover from whatever is eating them.

I just took this picture a few minutes ago. They are looking much better now. I’m thinking of transplanting either this afternoon or tomorrow.

Those are looking good. Will these be in containers or in the ground?

Those are looking good. Will these be in containers or in the ground? I’m thinking both. I’m going to set up one on the porch in a container and put the rest in the ground.
