That's awesome! I do the same, I can't help myself, I'm just that way.
I never want to make anybody mad. Some days the crowd is tougher than other days...

If this is the right picture, these are my volunteer whippoorwill peas in 2020.

I’m working on my 2023 pea list now. Most of the ones I have need growing out for seed. Hopefully I’ll be successful with them as I was this year.

I know this will be a shock to you, HMooseK, but I didn’t save seeds, simply because I bought a large package being sold for cover cropping, and so I wasn’t in any danger of running out. It was my first time growing cowpeas, and we cut a lot down for chop and drop soil enrichment since we had just filled new raised beds. Those I didn’t even let flower. I did let others go to flower and seed, but we ate that little crop in the fall and winter. I thought they were tasty, too. Are you looking to grow Whippoorwill in your 2023 lineup? Are you looking for seed for it?

chrysanthemumI have a few seeds, but they are real old. Of course most of the ones I grew out this year were real old. But to answer your question. Yes, I’d like to grow them.
