I have a couple of types of seed that I would be glad to share with regular users of Green Country Seed Savers if anyone has need or would like to try something just for fun. I have oodles of Black Beauty Eggplant seeds. It’s the traditional large heirloom. They were packed for 2020 by Totally Tomatoes and have been kept in my refrigerator in a glass jar with oxygen absorbers. They germinated with no problems for me this spring. The sale pack I bought contained over 800 seeds, and with my small garden I’m not going to make a dent in the quantity included, so I’d be glad to share. I also have a variety of tomato that I’ve never grown. This spring I ordered a couple of open-pollinated cherry tomatoes from a plant breeder in California, and when he sent the seeds I had ordered, he also included a couple of hybrids. The pack of Agi Red Hybrid tomatoes has one hundred seeds. I’ve planted two to try them out, but again, I just won’t use 100 seeds of one variety in the next ten years, so I thought I’d offer these up if someone is interested. Please do note that they are a hybrid and will not be good for seed saving. I have no experience with them myself other than germinating two seeds so far, so I’ll include the breeder’s description here. store.growartisan.com/product/agi-redPlease let me know by private message if you are interested in getting some seeds for either or both of these varieties.
