Greetings! Buffaloberry here to seek help in looking for heirloom tobacco and herbs historically grown in the Calumet Region of south Chicago and northwest Indiana, off the shores of Lake Michigan. I only got the wild tobacco and native herbs such as purple coneflower, milkweed, bee balm, mountain mint, wild onion, etc. I'm looking for more types of tobacco grown by Native Americans and settlers, as well as wild and domestic herbs being originally used. Much love!

Hi David. My favorite seed retailer is Victory Seeds. I know they have a reather large tobacco collection for a small company. They acquire their seed from David Pendergrass in Tennessee. If you haven't been down that rabbit hole already, might I recommend a quick email to Victory Seed or Mr. Pendergrast? I looked since you left a message and I saw at least one variety of native American tobacco Seed sold by Victory. I love how they try to introduce heirloom varieties along with the history or origin when possible.
