Good morning everyone! I have been reading all of your tips and posts for a couple of years but never said anything. I live between Guthrie and Edmond, Oklahoma. First, I want to thank you all for the information each of you share and what a blessing and help your posts have been to me. I had a 75ft by 150ft garden but need to cut back since having a new baby and my father in law will not be here to help this year and the hydraulic lift is not lifting the disk on the Massey Ferguson 175 right now. So, I will be down to 8ft by 40ft. With maybe a separate small pumpkin patch. I have been reading about your success with Heidi, old time country pumpkin, Cherokee purple and Arkansas traveler. I have about 15 Philippine chili peppers started but that is all so far.

Welcome aboard! I want you to know that by registering and signing in, like you did, you encourage the rest of us very much. It's an encouragement to know who it is that's visiting and even more of an encouragement when you post.
8' X 40' is pretty respectable. Hope you can get that tractor fixed.
Tell us about that pepper. Is it hot?
George

Welcome. I'm pretty new here myself. Seems like a nice group of folks here though. Already learned a few things.

Hi George!! It is up to 100k scoville. The fruit itself is one inch or less in length. I fell in love with them when visiting there. I would be glad to share a few transplants when they are ready and definitely some seeds Once I get some collected. My brother in law is coming in April and is bringing me some more seeds as well. I am getting excited for this years gardening adventures!!!

I do have quite a few seeds from another Philippine chili that closely resemble a Thai chili if anyone is interested. The family sent those to me last year thinking that is what I wanted. They were from Manila and I wanted the smaller hotter pepper from the southern islands. The smaller is what I am planting this year.
