Larry, a.k.a. Slowpoke Gardener has been a friend of mine for at least 10 years now. I'm just starting this thread so he can "land" here and tell us about himself. Be sure to greet Larry!

Hello everyone. I would like to thank George for all the help he has been for me.
I am not much of a gardener, but I like trying. I live east of the AR. OK. line, so I expect my soil is much the same am many of you. I am lucky enough that I don't have a lot of rocks, but do have my fair share of clay. I also live in a low area, which is a handicap at times. I get every ones left over water, and I I also get everyones leftover frost. I just have to learn how to work around the handicap.
I look forward to responding to the ones on the forum even though my knowledge is limited. I will have to go through a learning curve on how to use this forum because my knowledge of computers is also limited.
I do have a fall garden going, and I am also experimenting with having an edible cover crop this year, which is mostly different types of greens, they taste good, but I dont know how they are going to do as a cover crop.

I know for a fact that Larry is good with a tractor and a good carpinter as well. He's working with some of his grandkids. They supply the labor and he supplies the know how for gardening.
Larry, we're happy to have you! Just remember, let me know if you need help, and I'll help.
