Folks,
I sent out an email explaining that I need to cut back on committments. Here's the text of what I sent:
-------------------------
Folks, In last month's meeting I mentioned to the members that I cannot attend a monthly meeting, due to having too many commitments. Been meaning to write everyone on the list and let you know. Also, I will start a thread on this, on the Green Country Seed Savers website, and invite discussion about it. Just because I cannot make every meeting, doesn't necessarily mean that no meeting can occur. If others still want to meet, that'd be great. As it is, our meetings are mainly a time of informal conversation about seed saving and gardening in our area, crops, techniques, how to grow, how to save seed, etc. And if a number of folk gather and want to discuss those things,... then there'd be a successful meeting. Jerreth and I have been talking about how to slow things down and to stop feeling overwhelmed so much. One of the ideas we had was to cut down my time in meetings. Up until now I've been committed to about ten meetings a year, which is a large chunk out of my weekends. Anyway, heads up! Though I'm late on getting this out, I'm going to plan NOT to go to any meeting this coming Sunday afternoon. Sunday at 2 pm would be our normal monthly meeting.
------------------------------------ So this is the place to discuss this matter. As I mentioned above: just because I won't attend, doesn't mean that a meeting cannot occur. For the time being I'm going to limit myself to four times a year.

George, I am in the same boat. I won't be able to make many meetings either. I will however, still be able to share seed if someone wishes to PM me.
