You can still go back and edit the photos or the text you've already published. They keep an 'EDIT' option for more than a year after you post a reply. Out of curiosity, I went back through some of my old posts today and found the edit option was still there all the way back to May of 2017.

Glen,
I'm getting ready to make a batch of sriracha this evening. This time, I'll try to save a few of my seeds. Last year, I forgot and ended up pickling them all in my sauce. I've grown these Mucho Nacho peppers every season for several years but never had them turn out this nice before. Are you interested in any of these seeds?I don't know how hot or mild they are yet, as I haven't cut into any of them, but they sure are pretty to look at. I'm thinking about smoke curing a few of them like they do in Mexico, just to see what that turns out like.

Ron, only save Chili Rayado seed for me. No normal jalepeno. I am only interested in Chili Rayado from your best plant please. Be picky. I have a few seeds now but not many since my rainy season planting was a fail. And, remember, when you mail this to me, get those envelopes with the international postage already on the envelope. Use those tiny little zip lock seed bags and tape the little baggy to a folded paper with a note on it. Don't send it quickly. I want to think about whether there is something else I need. By the way, how are your chili Rayado peppers doing? That is the best variety you got. You should grow a lot of that pepper. Improve it. Make it outstanding like your Heavyhitter okra. For your information, Mucho Nacho is a very spicey hybrid Jalepeno. The last Mucho Nacho you sent was very sweet and obviously not Mucho Nacho. Plus it didn't grow well. I am no longer interested in Jalepeno due to the continuous problems I have with it. Chili Rayado is the exception. I am very interested in that one.

Glen,
Will do. My Chili Rayado is not as far along as my Jalapenos are. No red ones yet, but there will be before long. Maybe, two more weeks?

I have 2 surviving Chili Rayado plants. Both have a wilt disease. Fruits are not of good quality on the plant. The fruits ripen extremely slow. I have had problems with these plants all season. Originally there was 3 plants. I have had all kinds of problems with these plants. Very discouraging. But, Chili Rayado is not a tropical ahi. It cannot tolerate tropical rainy over-cast conditions. I did pick 2 ripe peppers today. I also still have a few seeds that George sent me. I am getting ready to plant a few specimens again. I am still in the rainy season though and it is still over cast. I don't want to use the seed from the 2 fruits I just picked. Not good enough quality. I need seed of the best quality from nice big fruits. I am sure your plants look good Ron so save all of the seed from the best plant. I think the best time for me to plant is actually in October. The rainy season will end towards the end of November. I am fairly sure Chili Rayado will do great during the dry season if I find a place to protect them from direct sun and the high winds we get in early January. I am confidant it will work out.

Today's harvest. These are the Purple Thunder mystery pods. These are BJH3 purple thunder (f5) yellow caramel blocky pods. These are plain red (f5) BJH3 purple thunder pods. Special. Hot. Juicy. Big. These are Blood red (f5)purple thunder BJH3 Rick describes these peppers as Bhut Jolokia. I am not sure if he said that they were yellow or orange. They are more yellow. The plant itself has the purple gene with purple foilage and branches and blooms. This is a special plant. Not all seedlings had the purple gene. I selected it. Even the unripe pods are purple. They ripen yellow. The flavor of this pod is special. A keeper. The total harvest. Its a lot of peppers and a lot of work in front of me.

Thanx for viewing the pepper harvest. Welcome to the forum HotpepperQueen! So everyone knows hotpepperqueen does a very good YouTube channel and she is an expert at growing hot peppers and also does programs on cooking! She has excellent variety's of hot chili's including the Jamaican Scotch Bonnet which is a famous variety. But, she has many others as well. I am going to send the queen some seeds! But, I have to wait until the post office reopens for business here in Panama so I can send the seed. The name of Hotpepperqueen's YouTube channel is Claire's Culinary Adventures so please check it out if you are interested in seeing her garden and also seeing her prepare Jamaican cuisine. With some luck I am going to trade some Purple Thunder seed to Claire in exchange for some real Jamaican Scotch Bonnet seed. Claire has the real deal. Again, welcome to the forum Claire. Also you should be aware that we are a seed savers site. We like to trade seeds!

She's done several over the years.
Now you got me wondering if Glen ever swapped seeds with her, lol.
