Bon, I'll be waiting to see what Ron says. He's really our compost "guru." I just pile stuff up and forget about it. Do you think your piles lack nitrogen or microorganisms? Could it be that they are too dry?
If needing nitrogen, maybe you could find some chicken manure. If microorganisms, would you have access to any milk kefir? I know that would be a bit expensive, considering one raises it on milk, but I have read that kefir helps keep septic systems perking.
