Hi everyone I have taken the seeds out of my largest Atlantic Giant pumpkin. It weighed 1,063 pounds and was a nice orange shiny pumpkin. It was a controlled cross that I made so I know both parents are tops for size. If anyone is interested in seeds from it, Just send me a self addressed stamped bubble envelope or better yet maybe we can swap seeds. I also have these varieties available;
competition Black Diamond watermelon seeds from 95 and 85 pound fruits.
Connecticut Field pumpkin seed that will grow pumpkins up to 100 pounds,
175 pound Giant Bushel gourd,
Carolina Cross watermelon,
Boone County White tall corn,
Giant Zanzibar Castor bean,
Black Beauty eggplant,
Carbon tomato, Polish Linguisa tomato, golden queen tomato, A large collection of super hot, hot peppers, cucurbita ficifolia AKA fig leafed gourd or shark fin melon.

John,
Today is July 4th, 2016. I just now discovered your post... "Darn the bad luck!" If I'd have found it a month earlier, I'd have bought all kinds of seeds from you.
I love growing pumpkins. I don't know why? I just love seeing them in the Fall of the year.
The bigger, and uglier, the better!
I usually end up using them for hog feed right about first frost.
One year, I grew enough pumpkins to fill the back of a pickup truck. There's a little Country School about 5 miles from here with only 120 students from kindergarten to the 8th grade. I went there at noon one day in October and gave every kid in the school a free pumpkin. It was one of the best rewards I've ever experienced from gardening. I've just never had space to do it a second time.
This year, I bought a tractor. (I've never had a tractor before. We always just gardened with a team of mules, or garden ponies). This Spring, I broke all kinds of ground, just because I could. I have a big pumpkin patch now, but only have Old Timey Corn Field Pumpkins, and a few varieties of gourds planted there.
Maybe, next year?
Ron
