Hedgeapple, here’s a snapshot of some of the Rattlesnake Pole Beans that I’m trying to grow out for seed for you. They kicked into high gear after the rain this weekend, and so far the extended forecast isn’t showing any frost, so let’s hope these will develop some good dry seed this fall.

Message received and replied to. We thoroughly enjoyed the Woods Mountain beans last year. The Kentucky Wonder - I remember liking them, but that was about 8 gardens ago. Cowpeas: I adore black eyed peas, so if they are similar I will enjoy them.
My last question (?) is: Do you have a preference - strings versus stringless? There are many fine stringless beans out there, but there are some who say to get the best tasting "string" beans, you need to grow beans with strings. There's been many a tall tale spun while sitting on the front porch stringing and snapping beans, lol. On the other hand, some folks don't have the time, desire or inclination, to put in the extra work when preparing beans.
Just an fyi, Kentucky Wonder and Rattlesnake Pole beans are stringless varieties, and taste great I might add.
Also, you need to message me an address you'd like me to mail them to. I won't be sending them for a while, so there's no rush.

I’m not concerned with stringing beans - did plenty of that when I was little. Sending you a message now. Thank you!
